MSD Box

Hey thx for the tech page. I have a MSD 6 Offroad Ing. box. I have the four point HEI and have a good idea how it wires up. The ? is i've been told I have to run the motor in for about 5-6000 miles before I hook it up. Anyone know if this is true? Thx, Chris
