FIVE MINUTES TO HELP STOP PROPOSED TRAIL CLOSURES
I am really pleased to let you know of a great way for you to help keep your trails open & it only takes a few minutes.
Advocates for Access to Public Lands has made available free of charge a tool to let people contact the Forest Service in a meaningful way to tell them that they want to their trails to remain open to motorized use & others in each Forest.
We need to get as many people as possible to comment to keep trails open to motorized use & this is such an easy & fun way to do it.
Even if you have never recreated in the Clearwater Forest please take a few minutes to help preserve these trails for your children.
Just click the link below & get your letter out.

As you may know nationwide, statewide & in each Forest we are currently facing the largest proposed closure of trails in the history of the Forest Service.
The closure activists are a minority but they enjoy sending out letters so they are deluging many forests with thousands of letters supporting the proposed closures. We need to balance or better yet overwhelm that with thousands of letters in each forest to keep the trails open. With your help we can do it.
There will be other alerts for other forests in future.
If your club would like to do an alert for your forest plan please contact action@TrailsInTrouble.org to find out how.
