Calico AFD "RApture Run" 5/21/11

If you went on a run this is where to brag about it!

Oh yeah... I forgot GJ ruled this with an iron fist.

Don't worry... he'll start rubbing against your leg just as soon as you have five or so posts. :stirPot:

But I see you already know this... so me, being a post whore, am just making fluff.

For the real fluff.... take the extra credit route.... some place called "Brad's Playground." You'll find my minions there.

Yeah.... I thought Tim was the Official IOR photog, but Vicki's pics rival his *and* we don't have to wait four to six months for a copy. I vote for Vicki in the future.

Man the second I heard fryloco was going up the waterfall I told Brad I'm getting out to snap pics fryloco going up he's one crazy mofo. I was running and was a lil late wish I was there 5 seconds earlier and I would of cought the whole thing. I got some really good ones on desert dog and missed when the new Guy with the black Jeep had 1 wheel about 5 feet off the ground when you first God down to the Canyon.

Wayne was spotting and telling him to go easy and I was at the top of the waterrfall setting up to film. As soon as Flyloco let the clutch out and started bouncing around, Wayne and I ran for our lives :lol3:

Speaking of Rockwells my buddy got 2 front diff Rockwells for his M175 Kaiser and made 4 wheel steering. It's pretty bad ass... I'll have to see if he has recent pics of it.

Rear shaft. D60 big spline Chomemoly. Twisted and bent the shaft at the halfway point too. Luckily, Currie gives you lifetime 1/2 price replacements.

Full floater :lol2:

It was honestly probably an accumulation of a few trips. Remember, I spent a week in Moab and a few days in Johnson Valley right before this run. I'm out running my junk hard almost every weekend (including a hard-core run tomorrow). When you bind up a 40" tire in the rocks and start using that 113 crawl ratio, stuff can break. I always carry a complete rear axle shaft in my Jeep because I know its bound to happen at the worst time.

Damn Chris.... break, fix, repeat!

But, never forget.... the "fix" should always be bigger and better.

True it was prob in moab I seen the bids of your rig jumping up and down trying to grip. It should be free lifetime replacements.
