Stopped by Calico this morning

Postby Desert Dog » January 2nd, 2010, 5:11 pm

Stopped by Calico on my way back from Vegas this morning. It was pretty crowded, and lots of folks from Bakersfield. I ran a couple of trails, explored some mines around the hills, and watched a guy trash his heavily modded XJ on gatekeeper. There was a guy in a nice new JK Rubi that slid sideways into a canyon wall in Odessa - dented up the side of his jeep pretty good. I'm really liking my new KM2s, they work awesome in the rocks.

Put them on Wednesday. Tougher than hell, but what a bitch to install and they make it harder to get into the jeep. Took twice as long to install than my lift. They took a good hit on Odessa, but only suffered a scratch. That trail is getting worse every year.
