Seeing the "rock-bouncer" guy from back east was awesome. I got a chance to see him on sledge and on Backdoor Wednesday night. Saw a lot of awesome launches.
Joshy talks about the dude all the time, and I must admit that he is pretty legit - probably one of the top 5 fastest I have seen up back door (blown buggy was the fastest). I asked why he was running Iroks instead of the TSLs and was told that the IROKS hook up much better in the rocks than his TSLs, but the TSLs are better in the loose dirt and tree roots in the south. There you have it from the master Joshy
He definitely proved that a rock bouncer can come to JV and run with rock buggies. The rig is actually much smaller in person than it looks on film. It looks really long and wide on the internet, but its really about average size for a buggy, but with no visibility. He said the trails he ran were easy, although he didn't run any of the hard trails (FOH, SOS, Etc.).
Vid I found from Backdoor Thursday night:
