BC109 -- 12/31 -- Infectious New Year's Eve Run
More later.... but the trip was a blast.
Met up with Infectious members chuckanut105 and rando30ex... women and children were present, so I was not able to perform any naked hood riding this time out (although it is never the same without O8er representation). We got a bit of a late start, but not too bad.
We ran up into the main wash and it was wet.... wet and ICY. The whole trail was a mixture of the two, with more ice than running water. Made the trail interesting. The V-notch, while I assumed was going to have been made more enjoyable with all the recent rains was opened up quite a bit and a MAC truck might have made it through without issue. In fact, most of the trail was quite a bit easier than usual, which is bad news in my opinion.
We then decided to take the left fork at the top... we ran into a fallen tree and some other crap making forward progress a problem, I went up and around... but my Infectious breathren had vaginal itching and backed out of coming along? So I turned around and came back down to the right fork. We somehow lost rando30ex? Didn't leave him, as he took off on his own.... but didn't say anything and I worried/looked for a bit until I figured it out. Strange!
chuckanut105 and I had a blast on the right fork and came quickly back down the wash when the sun turned to clouds.
chuckanut105 kicked some ass in his non-locked JK!
CARNAGE REPORT:
rando30ex: muddy vagina
chuckanut105: one destroyed front JK flare
abendx: one destroyed engine/oil pan skid which somehow cracked the oilpan/engine block (unknown real damage until I start digging)
It was COLD out there... if you go, go prepared! We had to sit in the heep for a few hours after dark until AAA came to scoop our asses up and it was pretty painful without the ability to turn the heater on.
Pictures soon.
