Today was a great day on Piute Mtn. Rd. The colder temperatures of the morning challenged us with such a low snow level. It seemed as though with every break we took it became easier and easier traveling even though the snow got deeper and deeper. Another real big help was that all of the down trees were previously taken care of. The full sized trucks (and Eric in an XJ) had the most trouble of the day, and a toyota tundra took home some minor body damage. The name of the game was airing down more and more with every stop. On the way home my exhaust header broke. I was open exhaust for more than 3/4s of the way home. Boy did I think I was going to get pulled over when I got into town. Without further interruption: the pictures.
