first of all i wanna say thanks to 4 wheel parts, the RTI ramp was alot of fun and the car crush was cool too even though just a couple of buggies and jason in his XJ played on them.

as for the raffle, :lol3:  :lol3:  :lol3:  :lol3:
full traction really layed an egg on this one, 4 wheel parts was told they would have a lift kit to raffle off and all full traction was able to come up with was a gift certificate for a leveling kit for a JK. :thefinger: honestly all i think they were there for was to find someone to run their new radius arm fix kit thingy. they set up their little EZup and sat in their director chairs hoping none of the buggies hit one of their rigs. sure they talked to a "few" people but you would've thought they would get out there and mingled a little bit. they didn't even stick around for the raffle :dontknow: WTF?!?! a guy that builds his own buggy is going to need a leveling kit for a JK? :suprise:

4 wheel parts made things right, professor JK won a viair inflation kit :Thumb:  (i think it was rigged, she drew her own ticket)

and now back to the RTI ramp
here are the scores for everyone that tried it out
Desert Dog 1179 (2 door JK)
Andrew 931 (TJ)
Jason 953/1047* (XJ)
Casaintsfan 979 (2 door JK)
Lane 558 (84 toy sb)
Roger 707 (83 toy)
Blane 788 (4-runner)
Chris 601 (toy p/u)
James 703 (4 door JK)
Mark 602 (toy p/u)
Brian 890 (LJ)
Beckapoo 725 (XJ)
Adam 711 (XJ)
Cookie 796 (YJ)
Rigo 828 (XJ)
Victor 810 (4 door JK)
Brian 815 (TJ)
Mike 889 (YJ)
Vince 951 (TJ)
Mike 706 (XJ)
Professor JK 824 (2 door JK)
Darnell 344 (stock YJ)
Russ 774 (TJ)
Tony 935 (TJ)
Mike 381 (F350)

*= disconnected limit strap

how score was calculated
distance/ wheel base x 1000

Looks like some more folks hit the ramp after I left. Was that 4WP Tony that got a 935? If so, thats kick ass for a TJ on 33s :Thumb: .

Thats awesome :Thumb: . Most front leaf sprung toys do not do well on RTI ramps. Ive never seen one score that high. We had some SA built toys at this event, but they couldn't get much over 700 on a legitimate 20* ramp. With your WB, you must have almost been off the end of the ramp. Sound like you have a kick ass truck, can't wait to wheel with you on the con this summer :drinks: .

Just so everyone knows, RTI scores don't necessarily mean that your rig is more or less capable than others. It is just one metric to measure part of the big picture (other metrics are approach angle, departure angle, break-over angle, crawl ratio, driver skill, etc).

RTI scores are very helpful for figuring out the effectiveness of mods made to your vehicle. If you had a 601 RTI score then added new shocks and went to a 689 RTI score, you would know without a doubt that the mod increased the flex of your rig. Ramp time also gives you the opportunity to inspect your suspension to find your limiting factors and adjust bump stops. Another great use of RTI is balancing suspension front to rear, as a balanced rig will have pretty close RTI going forward and backward up the ramp.

A big thanks to Aaron at 4WP for making a perfect 20* ramp and giving us an opportunity to try or rigs.

I tried looking online for one, but it seems no one makes them, only plans for them. I've always been curious about my score.

Thats even more impressive, many buggies cant do that. Id probably score an 800 or so on a 30*.

I'll have to call and check I was almost to the top of the ramp and that was with no shocks it's cheating but I'll find out about the ramp cause u have me beat so I'll check into that and retest with shocksI'll update the score when I run the ramp with shocks

send me the plans and we can make one, but I think your gonna be disapointed the full size chevys take some fanagling to flex also with your big ass tires your no gonna get as much as you want. But as brad said you really need to wheel to see what you can really do. DD said it best rti is just a number skill plays a bigger parts of that your rig can really do.
