P.S. the new guy and his wife are now "infected",,, he had never been on ANY trail before (none) but he had a "locked at both ends" rig. they were both nervous
to start, not knowing what they're rig was capable of; he did a great job with minimal guidance. they said they had a ball and want MORE< MORE< MORE

Hopefully we get a lot of snow before the December 31st closure. FR is the best snow trail ever!

I just did a run up freeway, up black gulch to Evans flat and down Bradshaw to freeway and holy hell! Bradshaw by the piston monument where it splits is hairy! Before I finished coming down the rest Of the trail I nearly flopped my jeep twice in the big ruts up there! (skinny pedal saved the day). I don't know how you guys can do it in the snow, my little xj just can't do it on 31's with open diffs lol fun run yesterday thou

We had a blast yesterday. That Bradshaw trail was the first time I'd ever gone wheeling. Me, Katie and the kids ran into Josh and some others at Evans flat and joined in with them a few years back. I had no Idea what I was getting into....but we made it. That was in a 91 YJ on 35's with Trac Lock rear and open front and sway bars still hooked up. The 2000 TJ on 35's took the trail well and flexed great with the swaybar unhooked. No body damage for Zak....and I didn't even have sliders....It was a fun run....made Nightmare Gulch and Last Chance look like a city street.

Zak you had twice the lift as me with 35's aired down vs 31's on street pressure. Don't make me Throw 33's and long travel on it to show you what flex looks like

I would of escaped body damage free of we would of went down borderline instead lol

I didn't mention your body damage bud. I wouldn't throw ya under the bus like that. I was just saying it was a mean trail and I was happy I didn't get any rock rash. You wouldn't have gotten a scratch if you had taken the line I took, but then again, I would have taken your line if I had been going first. That spot was nuts, but all in good fun.

Oh, and I mentioned the sliders because I took my ONE slider off to make the other before we left. Lol. Who buys a jeep with one slider? Lol anyway, thank god no tub damage. I don't mind beating up the black one a little but I paid too much for the blue to beat it up too badly.
