hungry valley on march 25, 2012
Ok few of us went (4) that are on here and met up with two other xjs already at hungry valley. Had 5 xjs and 1 4runner.
went through henrys crack, had some issues at first. Dug one of the ruts out so the pumpkins wouldnt drag. Aaron brought out his new xj that is locked front and rear and he cleared out a lot of the mud for us.
3 xjs made it up the last part of the crack with out having to be strapped or winched and 2 xjs and zak had to have assistance. there was a lot of slippery mud in there. Zak also broke something not totally sure what.
we then went to the obstacle course and messed around. I attemted the waterfall and got up it and had to back down and ended up a tad sideways (ended up winching up it the rest of the way). people played in the sluice box and the hill climbs also
All in all it was a fun quick trip. We all decided to leave as we started to get snow dropping and the temperature was dropping. Figured we all had work/school tomorrow and couldnt afford to get stuck up there or chance a wreck on the grapevine with the snow.
