very good turn out (by saturday evening)
Friday afternoon to Saturday morning>>> rained off & on (tent camping sucks in the rain)
Saturday, the "man made" coarses were busy all day, and "Henry's Crack" saw a lot of action.
the last 50 feet of the crack was rutted out and several rigs ended up on their side, including "Burrt" who, after a quick assessment, powered through until all 4 tires were back on the ground. a dodge pick up however, spent hours clogging the crack, when,, after several attempts to go forward or backward ended in a broken steering gearbox, the truck was abandoned to go find parts.
to my knowledge> no one else broke anything.
the evening festivities, both Friday & Saturday, carried on well into the morning hours.
i can not believe the rangers didn't put a stop to the madness

the "hootin" and the "hollerin" just kept going as shards of fiery hot, broken glass rained
down, sobe bomb, after sobe bomb
fire balls shooting up from the center of our camp were seen from the space station
(i saw that on the news this morning )
though the weather sucked, the folks at IOR put on one hell of a party

and managed to break my truck on sunday
damage report
dented skid plates
bent/dented steps(wanted sliders anyways)
scratch/dent on passenger side
one broken bilstein 5100 strut pass side
one bent bilstein 5100 strut on driver side
2 broken fender flares/fenders from when front struts broke
not sure what else yet will find that out when i tear it apart tonight

I rented a big motorhome and came up Saturday at around noon. Proceeded to start a party in my motorhome within minutes of arriving. Everyone got shitfaced really fast from drinking apple pie. Then everyone cooked/ate dinner and sobered up. Then after dinner and a little wheeling, ended up getting drunk for a second time and partying till 4am. Jay C got a custom wrap on her XJ as a reward for passing out early.

As for the little details................well you should have been there

Just like Brett, i got stuck in a crack, just a much smaller one

Hummm

First time to an infectious run but I had a great time! Got drunk as hell both nights. Didn't get much wheeling in as I kept missing the groups ha. Met a lot of great people! And even know that damn wind kept up all day I had a great time playing in the course and wash!

Pretty sure I'm going to the meet and great this Thursday! Same kinda drinking!?


Again I want to think everyone for the great time! Didn't know anyone out there but every one was still very welcoming and caring, awesome group of people!

Those Bilsteins didn't hold up well. The set I had on my daughter's jeep last year had both the rears bend shafts. Sucks man. Hope they warrantee it for you.

Ya I am hoping so also because if they do then the new ones will be up for sale and I either way I am going to be shopping for coilover conversions for it. and be doing some bracing around the mounts and rear start running it hard
