A couple months ago I picked up Olympic's new "Bad Ass Boa Rock Bumper" (front bumper).
From the unique styling to the little details like welding the top of the D-ring shackles to the bottom of the winch plate for a stronger shackle tab, this bumper is as bad-ass as the name implies.
My bumper was installed at the Ventura IOR Meet and Greet with two people and basic hand tools. It uses all six factory mounting bolt locations. To top it off, you can still use your OEM tow hooks with this bumper. It allows you to easily fit a older Warn M10000 and a Antirock sway bar (although it is tough getting a wrench on the lower nut to tighten the clamp on the sway bar arm, but not impossible).
Pictures are below, but here is what I enjoyed the most:
-design of stinger
-winch hook mount
-D-ring shackles
-weld-on winch plate
-high clearance
-durability of powder coat. The bumper was powder coated by Olympic in their "Rubicon" black and has held up incredibly well. I was finally able to chip it recently on the rock course in Gorman (you know that rock, that big-ass one at the top of the hill), but it looks like some textured black rattle can paint will cover it up nicely.
The only downside was that the licence plate was not integrated in the bumper, so I had to drill two holes. All in all, this is the only downside and so easily remedied that I am extremely impressed with this product.
I really like this bumper, and would suggest it to anyone in the market. It was a great value compared to other vendors and it stands up quite well to the abuse I put it through in the rock gardens.
