New guy from Central Valley

Postby Navy-Jeepster » November 30th, 2009, 1:12 pm

Thought I would make my second post about me and the jeep I run.

I am Todd Ockert of the Hanford Trail Busters. I am the club secretary at the present time.
I am also involved with Cal4Wheel and the Sweepstakes jeep this year.
I am also the Director of Environmental Affairs for United Four Wheel Drive Associations.
I am also working with Del Albright to increase membership in the Access Army to keep our public lands open. www.accessarmy.com

My wife Larisa is very supportive and loves to wheel. I let her drive earlier this year through Night Mare gulch and Last Chance canyon where she did the V-Notch like a pro. I think she will need a jeep soon.

I am also active duty Navy until Feb 2010 when I will retire and have to growup and get a real job.

We have a 2004 TJ Wrangler that is lifted with a Rubicon Express 3.5 inch superflex lift kit.
Running BFG 35" KM2's.
Have a Warn winch for recovering others.
Lockrite up front in the D30, and an ARB that is in the rear D35.
Plan to upgrate the D-35 to something else this next year hopefully.
Genright tube fenders front and rear.

The next upgrade will be a new cage that we build at a club members house.

I have done all the upgrade myself so I can fix it if it ever breaks on the trail.

I will post some pictures when I get home, as I can not get to photobucket from work.

Todd

Yea, we were at PVD. Showed up Friday evening and then helped with the recovery of the XJ from our club.
We have the silver TJ with the black tube fenders.

Here are some pics of our jeep.
These are from Night Mare Gulch and Last Chance Canyon.
Larisa drove the whole day. Her first day of ever driving the jeep off-road.

Hey Todd welcome to the site. If you could get ahold of the lady that rolled her jeep at PVD for me i have a 89 two door shell that she can have to swap everything to. That was a nasty roll. It has all glass except the windshield. If anyone can come and pick it up for her it would be great. It has a clean title too!

I will let her know.
I do not know if she is going to drive again for a while on the trail.

I will ask though.

Thanks

Hey, they appreciate the offer.
They have two rollers already that they are going to move parts around on to rebuild one when they are ready.
This is not including the rolled XJ.
They picked up like three XJ's around here for little to nothing to build one or two.

Thanks
