My name is Ryan, been in bako all my life. Came back from long beach state about a year ago and have been working on my jeep ever sense with very little wheeling trips. Im trying to put a stop to that!

I drive a 07 Jk 2 door that is hardly a X anymore

Am still working on the rear bumper, need to add a tire carrior still and paint.

Here is a little bit of info about my rig
Its turning 35" toyo MT tires
5.13 gears with front/rear rubicon d44 axles assemblies, front is fully sleeved inside and out along with C trusses
3" full traction ultimate lift kit
Riddler diff covers
Homemade oilpan and tranny skid 1/4" plate
Homemade evap canister skid 1/4" plate
Homemade rock guards
Homemade rear bumper (tire carrier coming soon)
Homemade switch pod (8 switches)
Homemade light bar (soon to be rack)
Sure Im missing other things as well:(
My wheeling as mainly been at the Pismo Sand dunes with a few trips to Gorman and a little bit of Highway ridge.
I just recently been making all the skid plates so I would love to test them out sometime. Am free just about every weekend with my current schedule.

I have a lincoln 180 welder and I would be happy to help anyone out that needs a bead here or there.
Anyways just looking for some guys to go wheeling with so I can get into some of the harder trails. Let me know if any trips are coming up and I will be sure to show up! My email is Ryan_brierley@yahoo.com :drinks:

Nice JK. Great job getting that front axle gusseted and sleeved. Great custom work and interesting color combo! I can't wait to see it in person.

We have a trip to Calico planned on the 23rd and your Jeep is built perfectly for most of the trails there. Check out the upcoming runs board.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome!

I did see the Calico trip that is planned and would love to go! I have a trailer that I pull around with the jeep, is there a campgound or something around there that I could leave it at while we hit the trails? Its much easier for me to fit everything in the trailer then trying to cram a bunch of crap inside the little 2 door.

Just wondering how you guys normally roll around, weather you pull your jeeps on a flat trailer or whatnot. Most the groups I have gone with in the past all have custom buggys or really built YJ/TJ that they tow to the meeting places....

Any info would be great!

there is room for your trailer, if we go to the same place we went for the Armed Forces Day run or anywhere near there, some of us will drive out there, Desert Dog told me last night that he will be taking his trailer(only to put my XJ on after I FUBAR it on Gatekeeper :salute: ) alot of us will probably drive out there.

Trailers are for fags.... big gay billet queens!

Now... if you are pulling a trailer full of your junk, behind your junk.... you rock! :Thumb:

For most of the trail, you could actually pull your trailer as it really is fairly mild wheeling. We have a few off shoots and of course the Gatekeeper that would keep you from following with the trailer in tow, but not sure if you are into body damage or worse... which is very possible, even probable on some of the more fun spots. So you might not be interested in those little extra credit areas (last time we ran Calico there was plenty of good body damage to go around and a snapped axle).

We will be camping Saturday night.

Post up in the Calico thread if you haven't already and I'll add you to the list, I hope you can make it! Most of us are pretty good guys (big exception is me).... even the trailer queens!
