I met some of your members on the JV lakebed this past weekend and one of your members referred to me as a 'condescending piece of shit'.

I am very offended and think it is not a very nice way to welcome potential members.

I am assuming that this member was not the ‘welcoming committee’ so I decided to register to see what this place is all about.

What do you drive?

We are all about having fun. We have a wide range of members and some choose to be abrasive (to put it mildly). Also there was more than just IOR out there. There was a few other groups in the same camp.

I am hoping that it was just a misunderstanding! Sadly I didn't make this trip so I was not out there this year.

It was that asshole that did it...... ME!

Once you guys meet Avery, you will understand. Exactly how I painted him. (really!!)

Now.... the info I gathered to make this assessment, come from his own minions. So while I can say I ended up with this conclusion and the verbiage is mine, I have to admit, I am not the precursor to this end result. Avery has worked hard all his life to achieve this.

welcome avery! i think if you got your feelings hurt with that there will be more to come! not saying that in a bad way at all but i have been a member for a little while and it seems like everytime i go out on a run i get called a idiot, a retatd, a dumb ass, and pretty much anything else someone can stew up to get a laugh out of me or anyone else that is there. but i built my rig to actually use and try the stupid and retarded lines. it is a traler queen and i understand that alot are infact daily drivers and thats great to see and have them out to! but what pisses me off is when a group has so called built rigs and set on the side line and call someone stupid that isnt afraid to atleast try it you know if it was me and i have done this before is just say damn dude you made it or you gave it one hell of a try! and not to pinpoint anything or anyone out but if i see someone that needs help or a tug or just some water or absolutely anything i be damned if im gonna drive by and just look unless they tell me no we got it no worries. sorry if this is rude but i thought on friday night that was pretty shitty! just my 2 cents!

i was on my lid on friday and i asked for help simply because there was some rigs up above us and it would be easier for them to just hookup and pull me back over but they seemed to be in to big of a rush to help! but hey no worries my infectious people was nice enough to hang out and give me a hand for oh i dont know about 30 seconds of winch time is all it took thanks matt becca and mark and brandon!

We swung arount the top and were swinging around and a wrangler was flipping you back upright. There was no way I was going to pull you up front end over from that far up hill when you could have been recovered safely from down there. Don't get bummed when someone doesn't agree with your recovery method

Since I wasn't there, I have no idea of the situation, if Avery asked and no one jumped that is one thing, but if he just motored through, that is pretty fucked up. That is my two cents.

I am POSITIVE help was asked for if Joshy said so, so maybe (hopefully), there was some mis-communication on Avery's end.

I wasn't motoring through.....I was baby sitting a full body cherokee through chocolate thunder....the same full body in the pic above. When he rolled I was adjacent to him on the rocky climb up the trail. If he wants to drive himself on his roof that is his call but he shouldn't be critical if someone won't make the call to follow his shitty recovery plans.

I am even surprised he thought it was even an issue...he was recovered in a moment from down there so what's the big deal? If I was in a better position I always help. I pulled Travis off a rock when he turtled his XJ on a rock and aired up Richard at the same time.

37s....drives like a champ and just gets it out there in the desert.

actually i never seen averythat night that i remember the buggy in the lead of your group said no and hendrix yellow buggy told me to have my buddy do it! but hey it has never stopped me before trying to help someone even if i think i cant or my rig is to light! and for your info matt had to go to the top to winch me back over fromt my side not the front over or anything like that! hey i agree it is what it is but i dont give a fuck if there is no way possible to accomplish a recovery everyone will say atleast i tried!

Regarding Beccas crack, I think my presence jinxed Josh, its all mine....

The rcovery situation while successful and no major hangups was a bit disappointing. I was below Josh and there was 2-3 people in good spot to simply turn left and let out a winch. I was surprised when the need came to pull in middle of there group and turn around to winch.

We have been in same situation before at the hammers, matter of fact was goatfest.
Justin broke big, and right behind him was Blaine and a buddy, we were turning a jeep around to winch when blaine and crew stepped up and helped out with a two winch snatch block pull to help everyone out.

Oh well, even though some people come across as assholes on internet like blaine or brad... They are the type of people I know can be counted on to look.out for others

Smart move.... while I never got him to operate a glory hole out there, he had a two hour backup for his asshole licking. Those XJ guys really know how to lick an asshole and apparently he is their leader. Surely his glory hole would open up another multi hour backup.
