Hello all, I live out in Rosedale and would like to start wheeling. I have a bone stock 92 4runner. I have everyhing to do a sas and rear leaf conversion but I would like to wheel it in stock form for a while and learn some skills and see what it and me is capable of. Then I wiil do the swap. Im going to build some bumpers and sliders then ill be ready.

Hey man.... ask "UNCLE CRACKER" to take you up Freeway Ridge. I swear, that guy must do that trail 30 times a year. I think that is his favorite trail. But be careful not to mix that up and contact CRACKER.... he's just a pedophile with big ears.

i have a bone stock 92 runner, a built 92 runner, and slightly built 82 pickup
if you have the stuff to sas that rig, i'd do it. it would be a waste to install a locker
in that independent front. a pair of inexpensive lunch box lockers and a little body Armour
makes a world of difference.
do that and come out and woop up on some jeeps

Sound like you would be a wealth of knowledge to draw from, I would appreciate any advice you could give me when the time comes.

I had a 92 runner with 2" lift, bald 33's and I wheeled the poopy out of it. I had 1 wheel off the ground most of the time, but with some e-brake, it'd keep going. Flush the radiator and make sure that 3.0L doesn't overheat and blow head gaskets. I liked my runner. It was a nice toy.

I'd like to re introduce myself. Took the runner out a few times and tore some stuff up . Decided it was time to do the SAS. Here it is now, 5.29, lockers, long fields. Doing the rear next.

Thanks everyone. I started building an f toy about 6 years ago and lost interest, so I had a pile of parts sitting around. I found the 4 runner awhile back and decided to put everything to use. I don't really know anyone that wheels and I'm new to it myself. I want to get this thing finished and get going on some runs.

If you are buying any TG stuff, try California Crawler Parts in Fresno. Their shop is about a mile from TG, but they sale parts cheaper than TG will.

Thanks, I have heard of those guys but almost everything I have was purchased years ago. I do need one more gear driven transfer case if any toyota guys has an extra they could part with. When is the next meet/greet?

I recently ordered a marlin high pinion thru inchworm. Josh at inchworm was awesome but by the time it went thru marlin the ball got dropped. Finally received it though.
