New to Bakersfield and Off Roading

Hey guys,

I just moved to Bakersfield from Fresno.

I have a 2013 Toyota Tacoma - regular cab - 5 speed manual transmission - 4x4 - 2.7L 4 cylinder.

I took it to Brewer Lake Trail yesterday by Shaver Lake and had my first experience with any type of off road driving. I enjoyed it very much and look forward to meeting some of you guys. I also look forward to tagging along on some of the trail runs you guys make that are geared more towards beginners and stock 4wd vehicles if there are any.

I didn't get any pictures on the trail as I was too focused on the driving. But I do have a couple crappy pictures. As a single cab and the shortest wheel base of any tacoma, I'd like to think it's a wanabe jeep/truck.

Infectious is turning into a Toyota club :suprise:
Welcome to Bako, I transplanted from Fresno almost 3 yrs ago. The desert has plenty of wheeling/exploring options for you and the weather is finally getting cool enough.
