New to Infectious Off Road but not to wheeling. My group includes myself the wife and two kids, all of us love offroading
and have spent more than a couple of years doing it. our current ride is a 1993 Toyota fzj80 Landcruiser. We are really hoping to meet some great people and go on some fun runs with you all. We are planning on attending the next meet and greet at Logans roadhouse on Feb 13th ( could someone tell me what time it starts ) anyway looking forward to meeting like minded individuals and hope we can have a great time. fyi I am heading out to dove springs this Sunday feb 2nd to go check out some trails for the day (Bonanza trail is primary) with the Kern county utv club if anyone is interested pm me for info.

Welcome!

We do a lot of runs, from trails for stock vehicles to insane buggy-only crawling.

Your rig looks perfect for our NB&C run in April at Hungry Valley. I am sure there will be many other runs posted before then too.

Our Meet & Greets are at Logan's Roadhouse the second Thursday of every month (unless it falls on a holiday). People usually start showing up between 6-7pm.

Thanks for the warm welcome's we look forward to the meet and greet as well as the ball and chain run in gorman. And desert dog it's unfortunate that your not available this weekend, but quick question do you know much of the bonanza trail? And your right about the spot in the picture. That is the trip I saw the bonanza trail sign but didn't have time to explore it.

that's "uncle cracker" to you

the official trail designation is "EP-15"
ep-15, east from hwy 14, will travel through the el paso
mountains to hwy 395. it may continue east of 395, i don't know :dontknow:
it is the main trail, which most of the designated trails cross at one time
or another. "bickle camp", "burro schmitt tunnel" and a few other destinations
are just off this trail, and they are marked by signage.
many "open" mines dot your path along the way.
any 4x4 will make it, but go prepared, water, food, spare tire, friends :drinks:

my brother and i, would gladly show you around out there, but i just returned
from wheelin in st. george utah with some of our members, and have some
catchin-up to do.
also: we have a long weekend run in panamint coming up that your rig would
be perfect for :Thumb:
check out: up coming runs, proposed runs, and run reports> trust me,, we know how to have fun :yup:
you can contact me by PM if you like

P.S. when traveling north on hwy 14,a few miles past dove springs,
you'll see a group of billboards, and a fenced yard
on the west side of the road. there will be a handmade 2x3 sign on the east side
that says "burro schmitt tunnel". thats the begining of EP-15

HAVE FUN!
