you have to upload it to photobucket or something similar and then use the image link for it to post on here

1) upload pic into your computer
2) resize pic to "small" in Microsoft Office Picture Manager and save
3) click the "post" or "reply" button on this board
4) scrole down below the text box and click on the "manage attachment" tab
5) Click the "browse" button
6) select the resized pic from your computer
7) Click the "add the file" button
8) go back up to the post text box and click the curser in the spot where you want your pic to appear
9) click the "Img" button in the tool bar
10) preview the post or submit

If you have trouble with that you can always use http://www.TinyPic.com they are a 100% free hosting site that will upload to their site and give you the following choices after you submit:
HTML for websites
IMG for forums and messageboards
URL for email and IM
and
Direct Link for layouts

Assuming they have IMG embedding turned on here (which is standard practice) all you have to do is click to start a new topic/add comment to existing topic and copy the IMG address that they have listed on http://www.TinyPic.com and insert it into your new post. If you are going to use multiple pictires you only need to include a space between posts. Hope that helps.

Thanks Desert Dog and Xystan for the help! :drunkbuds:

While you can upload pictures directly to the site, it may be better to use a third party picture host. We have limited space on our server which is why I have limited the picture sizes. If you use a third party site they are free and you can post a larger picture. AndrewJTorris' post http://www.infectiousoffroad.com/PHPBB3/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=616. He used http://www.photobucket.com, the pictures are large and look great and they don't take up any room on our server!

:drinks: Cheers again guys for the great help! That is what this group is all about! :drinks:

i use webshots, you can pick the size of the photo you wanna post and you can get the URL for a slide show.

i also like photobucket because they have a mobile site. i can take pics with my phone then upload them to photobucket and delete them from my phone to save memory.

and for my sig i just did a search for free gif hosting and i picked image shack. you upload the gif to their server and they give you the URL for it.

thanks
