Hello, I'm Joseph from Bakersfield. I have a 1977 Cherokee that still needs a lot of work. I'm fairly new to Bakersfield too.

Yeah it has the switch, but just hanging til I get a new glove box. A previous owner installed a part time kit so the front wheels aren't always engaged like stock.

It has the 360. A guy on the FSJ message board in Pasadena has a Wagoneer with a 401 for sale right now, that would kick ass.

Yeah, I've been a member over there for a while. The motor runs strong, it was rebuilt not to long before I got it. I do want to do a mild lift but moneys been tight. I got laid off about a year and a half ago and have only been able to find part time work since.

What do you do? Maybe we can help get a fellow Jeeper a full time job.

I was doing merchandising work in Home Depot. I did that in grocery stores too. Displays, resets, new store set ups, stuff like that. I am interested in any job that I could get now. I apply for jobs every day and have only had a few interviews in the last year. I started selling tools last year but it is slow too.
