Hey guys.

I ran BC109 with Jeremy, Henry, and Chris on Feb 28th. There was some other dude there, too. I think he went by the name B-Rad in a white two door. He made some of the mud hills a little easier by wearing them down before I got there myself.

I started wheeling back in 1992. I had a full size Blazer. I took an off-road class with "The Silver Coyote" with a work pal. We ran some easy stuff in Anza Borrego. Soon thereafter, I bought an M38A1 Willys. I rebuilt it (Chevy V8, auto, rear locker on 32s) and ran the Rubicon, Dusy, and a lot of the So Cal trials.

Around 1997 I sold it and got an 82 CJ-7. It had a four banger than just barely got me home after I bought it. It was red but had been repainted black and the black was flaking off. I pulled everything apart and disposed of the engine, trans, diffs, and suspension. I stripped the body to bare metal in and out and painted it blue outside and bedlined the inside. It got a Chevy V8, 700R4 trans, I kept the Dana 300, and got Dynatrac D44s with ARBs. I was running 35s and did everything I had the guts to run including going to the Hammers and Los Coyotes. I wheeled the hell out of it, and rolled it a few years later (laid it on its side in Hungry Valley).

I sold it and got an S-10 ZR2 and got back to light wheeling (but I did take it to Spider Lake on the Rubicon). Man, the looks I got from the Jeepers on that trip...

I'd been out of the game for the last several years, until I picked up a used, stock 2007 Unlimited Ruby last July. Since I bought it, it's been enhanced a little: it's on a Full Traction Long Arm 4" on 37s, 4.88 gears, D60 rear w/ARB, Hemi V8 Auto, drag flip, beadlocks, LoD bumpers, RCV shafts and reinforcments to the front D44, etc. It is amazing how well it works.

I'm looking forward to more runs with my new club (amazing you guys accepted me). I guess if you'll take Brad, you'll take almost anyone, so I shouldn't be too surprised.

Welcome to infectious off road.
Looking forward to wheelin with you, can I borrow your HEMI?
It's funny, bert338 has a jeep same color as yours and were always joking about his next mod is a HEMI. His wife did say when she wins the lotto that she would buy us all HEMIs.

good to hear from you man! You sure made all those steep drop offs look super easy. Must be nice to have that wheel base. I had a good time running with you and hope to see you and the little co pilot in the future :)

Thanks guys!

Looking forward to the next trip. Brad and I are talking about Lockwood when it opens, heading up 2N71X to Arrowhead, and running Gold Mtn and John Bull once the weather gets nice and the snow melts here in a couple three weeks. We also talked about Bullfrog.... There's a lot to get to. I hope we can hook it up and get a good group together.

The crew from the last trip was great. Thanks all for making it so.

I am not so sure about this guy... but he does have a cute wife (as long as you don't meet up with her wheeling) and a Yugo of an airoplane.

His little pizzaman makes up for any of his short comings.

We're both looking forward to wheeling with you guys some more!
