New from Bakersfield

Hi all,
I was having lunch with some co-workers at Crossroads pizza today, and found a business card for this group on my window. I thought it was really neat for someone to see my Jeep and invite me to check this group out. So here is a little bit about myself:
I live, I ride, I am a proud owner of a black '08 Jeep Rubicon JK. It has a 4.5 Skyjacker Long arm suspension kit, with 37" Cooper Tires. It also has a Road Armor front bumper, but I need to install the winch. Those are the only mods I have done to it so far.

I love going offroad. I am a beginner at best, but I have ventured around Evans Flats, Lone Pine, trails off of Rancharia Rd, and all through the desert. I love the beach, and since my son was born, I follow my husband and the group throughout the dunes. Some of the trails this group goes on look like a lot of fun, but I am not sure I have the experience to join, without holding everybody up. I don't want to be "that guy". LOL.

I also ride quads, and would love to hear from anybody wanting to go riding or offroading.
Thanks for the invite. Hope to hear from you soon.

WELCOME!

Your jeep seems like it is built fine for just about everything we normally run. The experience will come with time. The great thing about joining with a group like us, is that you have our support on the trail. You can watch us go through obstacles first and pick lines that seemed easiest, and even get our help spotting you through the tough spots. We have plenty of recovery gear in the group too and a lot of mechanical know-how, so you don't need to worry about getting stranded.

We would love to see your ride, so don't be afraid to post some "Jeep porn"!
