Ok, here's the deal. Looking at making campground/RV reservations after the first of the year. Some of the parks we are looking at also have cabins to rent, like KOA does. So far there appears to be 3 jeeps going. So all others who want to go and caravan to Moab and camp (or just convoy) post up.

I'm setting Moab and Rubicon as my 2009 destination goals. I'd love to make this trip, and the time of year is perfect...just about the time I receive my annual bonus! :) I'll say I'm sitting at 75%. I'll probably trailer the Jeep.

I like those goals... i would say im sitting at about 75% in as well.... I'll be trailering the jeep. How would i go about finding out what the cabin cost? otherwise i might just take the travel trailer as well... I was also Corious to if you guys know what day you would be leaving?

The RV parks I'm looking at have cabins that are close to full hook up RV sights or a little more. Some even have cabins that run as high as a high in motel.
I'm hoping to leave Friday (April 3rd) night after work and get to Stateline (Prim, NV) to stay the night. Leave Saturday morning from there and drive through to Moab.

There are so far three of us taking motor homes and pulling our jeeps.
When I'm finish with the research on the RV parks I'll post up with rates and phone number.

Believe it or not we are backing out of Moab Jeep Safari this time, but here are RV campground links for those that need to check them out.

As for accomodations, I'll be camping. Even when we've taken the motorhome, I've always slept outside.

We will be going to Moab but closer to summer time. Less crowded and more trails open for sight seeing, and I can take my grand kids.

I should learn to read...missed your post about backing out. HOWEVER, I am still game to go. Lets continue to plan this thing!
