Run repot huh... report is I broke my front axle, cv axle, and drive line... I slept in durango, till this morning before finally rescued... lol talk about one cold night, felt like I was in the damn ice box... lol

No cell reception? If there was, you should have posted a call for help here. I would have drove out there With my Suburban and got you guys.

Dodge Durango + offroad = break down

Some scary shit there. Good thing we were between storms when it happened.

Man you didnt learn from Larrys mishap? Man when i saw you were going up there it was at like 5ish and i figured it was too late to go up there at that time. Man glad you are ok!

damn, I am really glad you are ok, it had to be cold, there was no reception at all, I remember a time when me and another guy and his daughter wen for a little drive, we got stuck and ended up spending the night in his jeep, but I had reception, the sherrif just didnt listen to us and they went the long way around

Yea no reception sucks...! Lol thanks for all the support thou. Yea search and rescue was at the bottom waiting for me. They aired me and my rescue truck up. That was nice of him.

Yeah yeah yeah, I learned my lesson.
We need to set up some kind of phone list for situations just like this.
After someone posts that they are going wheelin alone they should call at least one person on the list and give them info on where and when they are going and any other info that might help if something happens.

But if you must :thinking: ............. let someone know where you are wheeling and the projected time you are arriving home. Then call your contact person that you are back. :dontknow:
What we need is a rescue posse, four rigs that can split up and hit both ends of the projected route.

I like that idea... Rescue posse. Ill be the first to sign up! My father in law would be up for it to with his ford! Lets get one started!

Get a ham radio. Not very expensive these days, and longer range than a CB. Someone could do a phone patch to your friend also if you are stranded.
