This is where to post runs that are going to happen!

Big Bear - 7/17

Postby abendx » July 13th, 2010, 6:58 pm

Seeing I am the only VC member (GJ is suspect)... I am posting this here.

Randy and I are going to run Gold Mountain, John Bull, and Mottino on Saturday 17 July. We are meeting at the Disco Center and heading for the trail at 9am sharp.

I might stay the night and camp in Crab Flats.... if I do, I plan on running Dishpan, 2n17x, and Cleghorn on the way out.

35's and at least one locker is going to be the minimum to run Mottino. Let's say a maximum of six rigs to keep the flow decent.

DAMMMM  I have to work that day
and I have a cracked rear caliper and cracked exhaust manifold on my jeep that I need to fix.

I have been wanting to try Mottino Wash for a long time. Heard it has some killer side obstacles to play on.

That sounds like a maybe to me.... you can call in sick and surely you can fix your rig by Saturday! ;)

Once I know where Mottino is exactly... we can run it anytime.

Ugh no lockers on my rig yet, halfway on the savings account for them. Anyone need a co-pilot? I may be able to go.

Mottino would be a no go and John Bull might be really difficult without them. I'd let you ride with me, but have a friend coming along... if she backs out for some reason, you are welcome with me Victor.

What does "miscellaneous" cover?

A regear should run you about 1200 + the cost of the lockers. Install should be no more expensive since it is trivial to add a locker while installing gears.

A selectable locker does add labor, if you are adding a locker or changing the style of selectable locker
