Snow run Sunday 1-14-2007

Depending on the weather and how many people want to go, we are planning a snow run up Freeway Ridge/Black Gulch Sunday. If the snow level drops like it is supposed to we ask that only lifted vehicles attempt the run*. I will post more information as decisions are made. As of now on Friday the high for Bakersfield will be 39 with a low of 27! 20% chance of snow flurries in town!

*Fret not as we find new trails we will host a beginner run for non-lifted vehicles as well as people that are new to four wheeling. On that run we will have plenty of experienced drivers on hand to help you get through the tough spots and give out pointers. If you are interested in a run like this send me an email infectiousoffroad@infectiousoffroad.com. If there is a lot of interest in this type I will try to put it together sooner than later.

So far looking at the way the weather is turning out it will be cold and icy on the run. Which should be a lot of fun. We are planning to go for sure so let me know if you are planning to make it!

We are going to meet at the Chevron next to Mesa Marin at 9:00am. We will be leaving to head up to the trail at 9:30am. We will be on CB channel 4.
