Had a great time, it was nice that we did not have any dust. Last Chance Canyon was easy, the rain washed a lot of dirt over the rock areas. Made the wash smooth. Went home through Dove Spring and then tried to go over Piute Mountain, however the snow was too deep and It was getting late. Nice job on going through the V-notch Larry.

Where are the pics?

Damage report, drivers side exhaust tip crushed, passenger rear shock shaft snapped about two inches above bottom shock mount. That's the rattle sound we kept hearing. Hopefully that shock is under warranty, that should not have broken there. Going to have to contact Rubicon Express about that.
But besides that what a great outing, next time we need to do a snow run and start earlier in the day.
Larry I'll try and get that video up some time this week.

OUCH!!!!! nothing worse than getting your shaft snapped.
as far as I know the only damage I suffered was the license plate. I gotta hose the jeep off to see if there was anything else. the jeep is filthy!! it's a jeep! the xenons held up pretty good, that back driver side one was pushed up against the rocks pretty good in the v-notch.

can't wait to see the video, thanks Bert.
i gotta get some sleep, been awake since 9:55pm last night and both girls will be home tomorrow.

see ya

My research so far is that there appears to be an issue with the rear track bar and the right rear shock during certain articulations. This issue has been brought to Rubicon Express attention and I believe there is a fix and shock replacement. I'm just waiting for some additional info before I have Chris contact them over this issue. I did not have any problem with handling but I noticed last night the shock was leaking and after a closer look found that it was snapped.

awsome Bert, what camera do you have? you can hear everything. I did suffer a little body damage, my rear license plate holder and plate is bent. the corner of the body below the plate got a little ding too. if I had that rear bumper on there it would've got torn off. my xenons got smashed up flat against the rocks but only suffered minor scratches. I had a great time and driving through the snow was fun and the views were awsome. can't wait to do it again.

northridge 4x4 had a sale for the PA 1'' body lift. after I installed it I posted pics in northridges thread about the sale. Yates Hudson from performance accessories group saw the pics and asked me to take some pics flexing my jeep. sent him about 50 pics and he picked that pic. he said he was going to use it in their ad but I didn't know he was going to put it on a 8' banner for sema until he sent me a cd with the ad and banner on it. oh yeah, he sent me a hat too.
