CANCELED!

Let's do the Hammers on the first weekend in November after the heat goes away and before it gets too cold (expect a 25-30 degree swing between high and low temps 40s - 70s).

One day we can run Bullfrog and Crazy 8, the next day we can run Sledge and Claw Hammer.

Who's in?

1. abendx
2.
3. Rando30ex (afraid, but will ride shotgun)
4.
5. AA-CJ7
6.
7.
8.
9.

Yellow Belly Backouts:

Desert Dog
Mickey

Minimum rig requirements:
1. At least one locker and 33s for the Cougar Buttes trails (Bullfrog and Crazy 8 ).
2. Lockers on both ends and 35s for the Hammers' trails... and even at that you might not be a happy camper and will most likely assume some body damage.

Meetup in the VONS parking lot on November 6th at 0800 (Bako crew might want to setup a meeting place close to home for a caravan).

12199 Hesperia Rd
Victorville, CA 92395

Cougar Buttes - maybe. But I would definitely like to meet some new people at the Hammers.

Anyone going to Victor Valley's "Fun in the Desert"?

The trailblazers have the "Goatman run" at JV in November too, but I forgot which days. And Panimint Valley Days is Nov 13th, then the Baja 1000 after that :wings: .

I have a work obligation on November 6th, but am willing to drive out there to run the Hammers on the 7th for sure.

I was just about to post up the dates for this years Goatfest. This is a run we've put on every year for awhile now, and everyone is welcome. It's very informal, but there will be some folks ready to lead a few runs on Sat. This is a great way to see more of Johnson Valley if you haven't been out there much. The dates are Nov 12-14. G&G Off Road will be providing dinner on Sat evening.

We always have a stocker run on Sat, so you don't need big tires and a willingness to risk body damage to enjoy JV. We also have a beginners run on Lower Big Johnson or Clawhammer, as well as plenty of people running the regular Hammer trails. I'd love to see my Infectious Off Road friends out there.

I have noticed some of the guys that wanted in on this run are also planning on going to JV the next weekend and some seem to have made plans for other runs on this same weekend. Please chime in if you still want to do this run... I don't want to go out there and find that you have all made other plans.

no, only a suggestion to you to stay away from, as short as you are, we would have to gather the Infectious ICE team to find you

Well.... it looks like everyone but AA-CJ7 went seriously homo on me and backed out for Richard's run. :furious:

Anyways... in the end I too can not make my own run, but it has nothing to do with being yellow bellied.

Sorry Andrew (explanation sent in a PM).
