for those rolling up to Pismo this weekend, We've been able to plan out some of the final details. I've spoken with a couple of Mods and some others going and here's the deal.
Camping: We'll try to secure a large enough space between Poles 5 & 6.
Rationale: Set's back further from the tide, Closer to Sand Highway, Near Restroom "G", No where near the heavy Traffic that runs from the entry to pole 3 and a much nicer less obstructed view with more driveable beach space.
Site location: Watch for Big red's F-350 (Can't Miss it) and Christian's Franken Berry Blue Jeep.
Also look for a Big Green/White Striped Motorhome with a Bright green LED strobe on a pole. By night, watch for the aforementioned Green Strobe light and Glowsticks on the antennas.
CB Channel is 21 and you should make sure you have someone's Cell # as a back up.
Watch for Rigs on the drive up as well, especially those that may be broken down. You may want to run your CB on the entire trip up and back.
Once on the beach, just call out to Channel Islands 4X4 over the radio. Soon enough, someone will answer and guide you in.
Looks like we'll have between 23 and 25 rigs, Wow!!!
