Well it seems that we are finally getting some built JKs in the club, so are you finally ready to represent? Falken tire, Off-Road Evolution, PSC, Skyjacker, and ATX are organizing the event, but many more vendors will be set-up out there. Any JKs with Infectious interested in participating in this event? Its through the hammers. No tools or spares allowed - you break down, your out. Your allowed to have a spotter/navigator - but thats pretty much it. Looks like there will be lots of vendors with JK products out there. You need to register in advance and there is no fees. Some info from the website.

I wanna go watch, let's try to get a group together and support desert dog & who ever else is going to do it.

Display the infectious off road banner & hand out some of the hand out cards.

The only one banned is Edwina :lol3: . Falken tires dropped their association with Eddie because they are affiliated with Four Wheeler Magazine, and as you know the owner of that mag hates Eddie worse than any human on earth. Then Eddie started deleting and editing Falken's posts, so the dictator of JKdom is not welcome anymore. Hell, even Poly Performance is gonna be there if that tells you anything :lol3: .

You should go Brad, your JK can get through unscathed with some creative spotting in a few places. You already have a cage and safety gear to pass inspection. Ill have my beadlocks on by then too, so no more valve stems and lost beads :wings: . I think Infectious can kick some ass there :Thumb: .

Come on Professor JK - You have the cage, 37s, full skids, long arms, lockers, Dynatrac axle, low gears; so your rig is ready too, and Ol' Tippy can spot and navigate for you!

It would be awesome if you could go. Outside of the event on Saturday, there are lots of trails of all levels to run in the area, even some sand dunes. I think there is going to be lots of JK free-bies too! Ill BBQ for the group on Saturday night.

Don't know if the butt-buddies broke up or not. But do know that it got to the point where the events would loose all of its big sponsors if WayOfGay continued to be involved. I heard from a vendor that WOG threw a tantrum over the involvement of Falken (because you have to buy Toyos, remember?). And we all remember why Four Wheeler Magazine won't sponsor if he is involved: http://blogs.fourwheeler.com/6300609/mi ... index.html

OK, a problem.

The BLM made the event coordinators change the event dates to Jan 14th and 15th, so the event will be Thursday and Friday (instead of Friday and Sat). The person that I registered as my co-driver/spotter can not get off of work on Friday, so has to cancel. So unless I can register a new co-driver in the next couple of days, I won't be able to participate.

If you can help a brother out, I would appreciate it. You just can't cancel on me once I register you with the event coordinator. Spotter must also be an experienced wheeler and good with a winch, you have to get me up the waterfall on Back-door and possibly some other "bonus" obstacles - and we have to do this with no tools, spare tires, or trail repairs allowed, so we have to keep the jeep intact.

No prizes for the winner, not even a race really, just bragging rights. Some of the most built JKs in the West are going and I want to see how I stack up. There will be lots of vendors handing out swag and media coverage too.

Any takers?

Between this and the blow job you will have to give WOG.... I am not interested.

I have read that you will have to be a current member of Project Gay-K, run his sticker on your junk, and participate in a group bukkake.

Wrong on all accounts

WOL = not a sponsor of JKX anymore
JKX (faulken tire) = not a fan of WOL anymore

Larry from Poison Spyder and PIG from Poly Performance are running in it. Just about every vendor with a built JK (except WOL) will be there.

Can't put it any simpler than that :bleh: . Its going to be a blast out there for sure, sorry you won't be making it.

So you can run with a spare and tools and recovery equipment?

My understanding is no.

If that is the case, who is going to scoop me up when shit breaks?

COOL! :wings:

Trying to fabricate a travel plan here;

IDEA #1 = Do you have a truck Dale? If so, you could trailer your Jeep there on my trailer. I can pull my travel trailer with my truck so we have a warm spot to sleep and a bathroom. Harry can drive my JK to Johnson Valley. That way, the JK with the most damage can be trailered back to Bakersfield.

IDEA #2 = I will trailer my own Jeep and everyone will take their Jeeps too. We sleep in tents & shit in buckets and get too drunk at night to give a shit about the cold or bathrooms. The most damaged Jeep can go on the trailer to get back to Bako.
