Meet up info at the end of this post.

We are going to run BC109 on 12/31. This will be a day run and you will be home to celebrate the New Year, we should be off the trail by 1600 or earlier. So come and enjoy!

Weather is forecasted to be around 30 degrees at the meet up time... so bring your long johns. Highs will not get above 40 and there might even be some snow on the ground. Come prepared (lockers are good, but not 100% necessary on this trail).

The trail should be a blast with all the rain we have recently had.

Yes.... I was going to the Trailblazer's run at Calico, but have decided it was too cold to camp and spending New Year's eve outside in weather that was going to be in the low 20s or possibly lower with wind chill... just not what I would find fun at my old age. Plus, I like my nipples too much to risk them breaking off in the cold. Pussy yes... smart yes! :thefinger:

Ventura Chapter:
Meet at the Chevron on Harbor and Seaward at 0815. Leave Chevron no later than 0830 to make it to the trailhead by 1000 (chuckanut105 has confirmed the 33 is open).

Bako Chapter:
Meet at the Flying J off the 5 FWY in Gorman at 0900. Leave the Flying J no later than 0915 to make it to the trailhead by 1000.

Others:
Meet with the Bako Chapter at the Flying J at 0900 -or- meet at the trailhead at 1000.
