Here in september 1 weekend I plan on making a run to Nightmare Gulch, I believe that will take you around to Last Chance also. That would be a good day of wheelin. are we still up for a work day this next month?

If you plan to visit Nightmare Gulch, make sure you are aware of the restricted times that you can be in there. It is a raptor preserve and the powers at be get real bent out of shape when your in there during the wrong months..........ruthless

Nightmare Gulch is closed Feb 1st to july 1st.

Nightmare Gulch is in the desert by Red Rock state park Kyle. I would like to go on a weekend this month GJ. If I go this month I will probably go on a friday or saturday night and get up in the morning and run the trail. I will be over there the 5th thru to the 14th of Oct. on vacation so i'll probably make a run then too. Are you game GJ?

Next month will be better for me too GJ. I found out I will be working every day untill the end of this month. I guess we have to hurry to get this job done so it looks like 7-10s or even 7-12 hour days. nothing like a little over time. I will be over on the desert from the 5th to the 14th of Oct. I believe we may run Night mare on the 6th. I'll let you know for sure when the day gets closer.

O.K. This is the date, Saturday the 13th of Oct. Nightmare Gulch and maybe Last Chance canyon. I'll try to get with every one that wants to go to figure out what time would be good. I'll already be out there so I won't have to drive very far. Every one sound up and settle the time. I've never been on Nightmare Gulch so it will a new experience. Anybody ever run that trail? If so let us know if you would like to lead. Thanks, Ed

What a bummer. I just found out today that Nightmare Gulch is only open to motorized traffic the second half of the month. The first half of the month is open to non-motorized traffic, like hiking, biking, horses I guess. I'll have to plan another run later on. I still plan on running Last Chance canyon on that same day if anyone is interested. Ed

Yes, this is for sure. I'll already be out there. The run is for saturday the 13th. Not quite sure of the time yet. I'll know for sure by thursday this week. It will probably be 8 or 9 am. I'll let everyone know. Ther are a few others that are planning on coming over that day also. Some may come over on friday too. Last Chance will be the run. If time permits we may take one that we ride our bikes on. Should be fun.

Just to throw this out...I will be running Nightmare Gulch on Thursday Oct. 25th on my way out to Panamint Valley. If you wanna join in just for that trail...post up in my Panamint Valley thread. Thanks.

Wish I could make that one. I would like to make a run to Panamint too but I won't be out that way until Thanksgiving. Have fun on your trip.
