Sherman Pass Trail opening run this Sat, July 9th
Posted: July 8th, 2011, 5:56 amThe Trailblazers are running Sherman Pass Trail this Sat, to open up the trail. There are a ton of trees down that need to be cut. The Gear Grinders from Ridgecrest will be there also. The Forest Service wants enough people to break up into four groups, with one ranger in each group to run the chain saws. meet at the chevron at Mesa Marin at 6:30, leave by 7:00. Bring shovels, gloves, lunch, etc. Evidently there are a TON of trees down that need to be removed to open the trail.
