for all those with kids, this trip is a great one to take them on.
we plan on running trails saturday morning/afternoon
some type of cooking and drinking sat night
sunday morning take kids through ghost town, they hire a ton of actors and set up the town real good for halloween, the mine tour turns into a scareshow(best ive ever seen).
we will be camping in mule canyon, probably farther north than usual, the Wrecked 4x4 crew usually takes the biggest spot at the Y in the canyon.
If we get enough people/kids we should bring costumes and treats for sat night.

We should firm this one up. Who wants to go and can we reserve enough camp sites?
I have heard of a few other clubs going.

Hi, I'm new too all this, I'm thinking on bringing my family, do we have to make reserveions? Or first come first serve? Do most of you stay in tents or is there room for trailers,

Calico has room for both. If I make it I will be in a tent. If you are going to be in a tent pack warm as Calico tends to get cool at night.
I think if enough people show interest we should look into a group reservation.

The campsite we will be at is open to first come first served, without reservation fees.
If you chose to you can stay in the calico campsites, otherwise will be dry camping in the canyon to the east of the trail heads.
Ill post up a map in a few

Ugh.... Campsite, campsite, campsite..... Boo!
Whatever ladies, I'll figure it out. Put me and my campsite hating rig in. In for something.
As for the question on rig requirements. Becca should answer that.

but I am guessing, hoping, that there will be two runs. One for the nuts and one for the terminally ill. again, Becca's place to answer, but I am guessing you are just fine.

As long as I can be home in time to take the kids trick or treating, I might be able to go. I would also be needing a campsite.

Halloween is Monday and I 100% plan on being home to give out candy.
Again with the campsites.... ?
Did I miss the meeting where you guys traded your balls in for two meaty lips or what?
I have a feeling that, before too long, you guys will be looking for trails that are near hotels. How else are you guys going to keep those lady parts sanitary without a baday?

LOL.. I think I missed that discussion... What's the background on the "campsite" issue?
When I say "campsite" I'm referring to a flat spot to pitch my tent. I don't need running water, lights, toilets or Internet access... Don't need security either. I bring my co-pilot, Mr. Sig Sauer
