Randy and I will be doing our annual Rubicon Run this year from June 21st through the 25th. We have some different plans this year, as we did a little hiking last year and want to get a lot more in this year. We will likely do half day wheeling adventures and half day hikes. We plan on running everything hard and want to remain lean, so those pesky requirements are coming out again (if these are too much, the main body run in August will be much less stringent and the trail will likely be MUCH less difficult due to the Jambos).

So... I think 35s, locked at both ends is a good starting point.

I plan on running the trail that weekend as well, but plan on heading into the trail friday morning, and out sunday sometime. We want to head in sometime thursday, but that hangs on my brothers work schedual, probably wont know for sure until a couple days ahead of time though. Wish I could spend a couple more days up there, but I gotta be home monday morning to get my son off to summer camp.

I'm new to this forum, but I'll keep an eye out for the logo on your trucks, maybe we'll bump into each other.

It's looking like just Randy and myself... we might pick up a buddy that lives in Placerville, but not sure if he's going to make it or not?

As it stands now, look for two JKs. One green four door and one white two door. The white one is all smashed up and has Infectious stickers, while the green one looks pristine with no stickers (correlation? I think so!! [img]http://forums.ratedesi.com/images/smilies/misc_firedevil.gif[/img]). Both running on 37s. We should be fairly easy to spot. We plan on camping at Buck... but the crowd will determine if that really occurs. We also plan on doing a bunch of hiking, so if you come across the rigs and we aren't there, we aren't too far away in the woods. Leave a note on my windshield that you found us.

What do your rigs look like... I'll also keep an eye out.

I'll try and rope off extra room at the campsite. How many rigs, just the two or ?

Well it's just gonna be my rig, my brother is just a passenger. You'll find a picture of it on the cover of Yotatech's 2012 calender...it's november also.

What time are you guys planning on heading into the trail thursday? ETA to the east side? We're just gonna one way it to Tahoe because we gotta be on the road home by sunday. Right now, we are heading up there as a solo rig so far, so the sooner we can hook up with any sort of a group the better for our peace of mine. We ran it last year alongside the marlin roundup with no breakage, but I don't push it too hard...yet.

Getting closer.... none of you bitches are starting to.... emm, [cough-cough] come down with something that might make you miss a week of work? That would be terrible if you had to miss a week like that, but I have medicine. It is called mother nature!
