Our annual Nov trip to Johnson Valley will be on Nov 16-18. Good wheeling, good friends, good times around the campfire. This is the once a year JV trip for everyone, hardcore or not. Wheel the tough trails, or drive around the desert sightseeing. 40" tires, full body and 35's, or stock, come out and have a good time.

OK, OK, the 16-18th. I might be getting old.......

I'll be out there Wed night. We're going to run the KOH car around the desert on Thurs, and I'll be wheeling the buggy on Fri and Sat. I'm hopefully picking up the motor for the buggy weekend after next, and the goal is to have it ready for JV that weekend.

Hmm.... I think I'll likely come out on Thursday, early afternoon.

Do you have a standard camping spot or just where ever you find in the lakebed?

after looking at dates I have to work Sunday the 18th but we might be coming up Thursday night run Friday and Saturday and head home Saturday evening

Brad, just look for the group of RV's/campers on the lakebed, we'll be the biggest group out there by far, and the only group out there if you get there early. We'll be on the left towards the far end of the lake bed.

crossing my fingers that I'm off that weekend. After this trip no trips for a while for me I want to see if I can get a jump on the house thing. Then I'm going to tear the XJ apart and stiffen it up.

Havent wheeled with yall yet, although ive met a few of yall at big bear and had a good first impression just curious, u said everyone is welcome, what trails u plan on runnin, are u gonna have vehicle requirements being that the hammers are not that forgiving? Hope to see yall out there, ill confirm my attendance the closer it gets

This has to be loosely organized to avoid permit requirements. Pretty much just friends going to the desert for a weekend. Everyone will have to be a little outgoing and find people to hook up with. There will be some "unorganized" runs on Sat. Post up your equipment and we can tell you what trails you could run. I'm sure we'll be discussing trail runs as the date gets closer.

Richard, we should definately do Outer Limits again. I think that is my favorite trail out there. Up sledge and down north Jack was really fun too.

I'll be there for sure. Let me see if I can roll out Wednesday... I was planning on coming Thursday afternoon, but if there's wheeling to do Thursday, I want to be there.
