WTF!

I'll be at Cabo.... enjoy Cronies.

I will put my two cents on for the last time on this issue.

1. Location needs to remain stable. ANY changes need to occur at least 30 days prior. There could be new people or even old ones.... changing shit up at the last second is no bueno.
2. Location *****NEEDS***** to be major street viewable. Why have these if we aren't advertising ourselves?

I have made mention of several places that meet these requirements, but your girlfriend didn't like them or they are at Toppers, which you don't like. Why don't you come up with a few ideas that you and Sarah can stand behind for the rest of us to look at.

Cronies has no/little street view and is on a very dead street. BAD CHOICE.
Cabo has little/no street view AND is in a very poor area. Anyone seeing them from the street likely can't afford to play. On top of this, the food here sucks balls.
Pirate's had poor street view.
Toppers had NO street view (the one we started at).

3. Doesn't have to be twenty five seconds from your house. Yes, I too enjoy a short commute to the meet ups, but maybe in a more central location we could get more visibility and thus, more members.

Again... I have made my suggestions on more than one occasion. If you guys want to keep it here at Cronies, great (I pointed out my objections).... but give it some time to set in.

Ideas and why......

Wood Ranch in VTA (mall).
This is possibly the most traveled intersection in the county. A ton of exposure and a parking lot that overlooks the corner with visibility from both streets. Con brought up by Pete is it is expensive.... after review of prices, it is indeed more expensive on the whole, but plenty menu items are more reasonable than where we go now.

Soup Plantation or Coco's in Camarillo (freeway).
This one has visibility from both sides of the 101 freeway I believe. Nothing else needs to be said on how good of a location this is.

In and Out (Camarillo).
Visibility from one side of the 101 freeway.

Del Taco (Ventura near the Black Angus) or the Toppers across the street.
Good street visibility on a very well traveled road.

Those are just some examples. We have to figure out ways to get new meat.... and the meetings are a great form of advertisement.

After seeing the street Chuy's is on in Bako.... that is what we should be shooting for. A MAJOR road way. Bako peeps.... how many people do you think roam off the street (or show up on the forum, runs, ???) because they saw you at Chuys?

Yes.... sorry for the little bit of confusion! lol

We will be meeting at Cabo on Oxnard Blvd. at 7pm.

We usually try to score the booth behind the cashier, next to the bar.

Hope to see you there!!

If you are not sure.... look for this guy.

Boys..... PEEJ is the man! Not only did he buy us dinner, he tried buying all the drinks as well. One hell of a guy and definite IOR material... he's already got plans to build his rig out to run with us at the Hammers! And oh yeah.... he is a newlywed, congrats man!

Then.... we had Christian. Some of you know my friend Christian. We'll forgive him for other misgivings as he now want's to wheel with the best! I believe he had a good time and his girl, Heather, sounds like quite the spotter and wheeler as well.... can't wait to see them on the trail. They are thinking they'll hit the Cougar Buttes trip in December.

GJ was MIA and Pete was.... hmm, IDK, he said something about being ripped off and couldn't attend?

All in all.... what started to look like a bunk night, turned out to be a nice one! Now.... we just need to get Jeff to attend one of our meetings.

Sorry about missing the M&G tonight. I just got into town.

I got stuck n bako trying to get my 63 &64 Buick Rivieras in shape to be picked up and transported here next week. I ran into some problems and it took longer than expected but in the end the are both running perfectly now.

Here is a pic of one. I will post more and more info about them when I get them here.

Sounds like a good time I wanted to go but have no fundage. Once again my pay is fucked up. This time I got half a pay check. I dont know what is up with this command Ive never had a single pay issue until I got back from Africa and we got a new pay Chief. Glad to hear that it was a good meeting.
