High Road will be having a run to Nightmare Gulch on January 25, 2009.
The tentative plan is to meet at the Jack in the Box at hwy 58 at 8 am and head out.
If you have never run Nightmare Gulch its in Red Rock Canyon, it’s only open a few months every year. It supposed to be a fun trail. Full width rig may have problems in some locations, and are not recommended to try and attempt this run. I know XJs with 6.5” lifts and roof racks have scrapped the canyon wall in a few spots. Semi stock rigs should be able to handle this trail, I know a stock YJ that ran it last year. There may be some deep mud depending on weather.

I'll go. Anybody else going?

I have never done this trail and have wanted to, I'm a maybe at this piont and will check to see if the boss had us down for something else on that date.

so this is where you guys all hang out, i can't make this run but maybe we can plan a run to Nightmare Gulch in the near future? what do you think?

Sounds good to me I dont think Ill have my ring and pinion in before Sunday, so Ill probably have to pass on this run my self. Id really like to go run Nightmare Gultch before they close it for the year.
