I'm up for a run. I want to find some deep snow. I'm thinking Big Bear, Shaver Lake or Piute mountain.
I don't think we've met, but I have a 2D Rubicon on on 38's, so our challenge level will be similar.

Piute is closest and may be unpassable after tomorrow. Even the repeater up on Breckenridge might be tough to get to. Both Shaver and Big Bear are quite the drive for a day run. I am up for something.

Hi Hi! I'm up for Paiute. I've only went to Paiute from the Weldon side, But I do have directions from a forum post that Richard @ G&G posted. There's a chance I could get mixed up, but I have gps. Are you thinking Saturday or Sunday, what time and where to meet up?
I asked around at the meet and greet last night, but it seems like everyone is unavailable, is in repairs or is going to Matt and Becka's tomorrow.
I'm in though. :-)

Sorry for the late reply. I had a really long day at work and just got home. I definitely want to go, but I need some sleep and won't be ready to hit it early. I could do like 10am. As far as where at? I'm not sure what would be best. Some place on the 58? My number is 661-578-7087.

Sorry, I hadn't heard back from you so I went out with friends last night, stayed up late and forgot to charge my phone. I'm just now leaving the house and will go up Piute on the Caliente side.

I went anyway. I went about as far as I could without pressing a chance for being stuck and decided to make lunch. After about an hour, low and behold, Larry shows up with his state of the art Rubicon. Nice Jeep, Nice Guy. He went forward and we held our ground cooking up some food. An hour later Larry comes back down the hill and shows some pictures of what is ahead. Heck, I was done eating, so we fired up the Jeep and headed up with company this time. I ran in Larry's tracks right up to the point where I got stopped. I aired down and it was on, and it was getting dark and colder. I saw 22*. We went right up to where you would nee

d a bigger snow plow than Larry's 38's. After a bit of turning around events, down the mountain we went. We made it
it home by 2130 hours and had a good time. The snow was real nice.
