Hey all! I am making this run official. Should be a good time.

Where: BC109
When: Sunday March 3rd Meet at the trail head at 10:30am
Why: Why not?

What to bring: Yourself, food, water, recovery gear.

What not to bring: A bad attitude, No whiners, Children whine.

In case I'm off and can go, where is the trailhead I have never been. Also is this a run a basically stock jeep with locks front and rear good for?

The trail is about as hard as freeway for the most part. It will prob be wet which makes it more difficult.

The nice thing about this trail is you go up it then double back so if it is too much we can leave the vehicle behind and you can ride in another vehicle till we come back.

Ive never been on this trail. Could a fullsize truck make it up.

About 1/2 hour south of Frazier Park on Lockewood Valley Rd.

Under 2 hours total driving time from Bakersfield. Folks usually top off the tank at the freeway offramp, then head to the trail.

You could play in the wash with no issues, but may have trouble or do a little body damage in the trail itself. This will be light rock crawling in a narrow canyon, with bonus obstacles for those who like to push their rigs.

If its an old truck with straight front axle, skids, and MT tires, I would definitely take it. If its a new truck I would not.
