The trail starts right by the Avi casino just below Laughlin Nevada and ends just east of Barstow Ca. I plan on leaving on thusday afternoon. If anyone is interested please let me know. O.K. This is what I have right now. Were going to leave thursday evening. Not sure what time exactly yet. Were more than likely going to get a hotel room in needles for the night and then leave out for the trail on friday morning. The trail is about 8 miles or so from there. Were checking room prices right now. On the trail were going to probably do dinner as a potluck sort of thing. If you don't have much for dinner don't worry about it because there will be plenty. All other meals will be up to you. As soon as I get more info I'll post up. Thanks, Special.

How many folks are lined up for the Mojave Road trip? I'm interested in going but I already have something else planned for that weekend. I may be able to go at the last minute if my current plans fall through.

Here's more, It looks like were at about 10 rigs. Every one will chip in for breakfast and dinners. It will cost you about 20 bucks each. Were trying to make a list of the things you will need to bring which will add up to that 20 bucks. Lunches will be up to you to bring. You can get a room at the Avi resort & casino for thursday night. I got a room with twin beds for 39 bucks. Not too bad. I'm not sure what time I will be leaving on thusrsday night, but I know that some of us won't be leaving until after 5:00 p.m. There is gas at the casino but it might be cheaper to fuel up in Needles. I'm not sure what the weather is going to be like but I'm sure I'll have fun no mater what it is. I'll post more soon. Hope to see you on the trail. Oh, I almost forgot, Avi resort & casino, 1-800-284-2946. Special

O.K. All systems go. Looks like were good on the permit . Were going to have 8 rigs going so the prmit is not really necessary. I'll get ahold of you tomorow Ken and let you know whats up. I probably wont leave out until 6:00 on thursday. P.M. that is.

Let me tell you, If you have'nt ever been down the Mojave trail you need to make plans on going. It's worth every minute. There is so much to see on the trail, and it is so relaxing. I plan on making another run later this year around October so I'll post up then.
