MY JEEP(HEEP) XJ KEEPS BLOWING THE PARKING/RUNNING LIGHT FUSE, I'VE BEEN TRYING TO TRACK IT DOWN AND HAVE CHANGED THE SWITCH, I PULLED ALL THE BULBS OUT AND IT STILL BLOWS THE 10 AMP FUSE THATS SUPOSED TO BE IN THERE. NOTE: IT WONT BLOW A 30 AMP FUSE BUT A COUPLE OF WIRES GET REAL HOT COMING OFF OF THE SWITCH.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGESTIONS????? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I WANT TO MAKE THE MEET AND GREET TODAY SO A TEMP FIX WOULD BE OK

could be a bad light socket causing a short, can usually tell by a visual inspection of the socket, also can check draw on each of the parking/tail wires to see which one is or which circuit is shorted.
