Hello fellow four wheelers. "Rebel Chapter 4x4" is sponsoring a Big Bear Run Saturday May 1st All planning on going must register and post on the Rebel Chapter forum indicating so as we will need a rig count if you are going to go. http://rebelchapter4x4.com All infectious off road members are invited.
Also,.. we are planning a first annual event trail run and camp out this summer in August which will be in Big Bear also.

There was a couple of JKs that ran up there a few days ago. They said you couldnt even see the rocks on John Bull, the snow was way above them.

Thanks for the info. We will not be running John Bull trail for about another month or two. We will be running Jacoby canyon 3N61 to Gold Mountain 3N69 from the front Baldwin lake side so It should not be bad at all and I just called some family of mine that still live up there just now and they say most of the snow has melted. However, i'm sure in some well shaded spots on the backside of the mountain there will be more snow. Thank you for your input. ...MATT...

Run Update> Some of us will be camping saturday night after the run in Lucerne Valley in the Couger Buttes area off Camp Rock road off hwy 247 and sunday will be doing cake walk-bullfrog trails on sunday morning
