MOVED FROM ANOTHER THREAD TO THIS TOPIC:

ABENDX: "posts are getting modified in all kinds of ways my the new mod team. Fucking blows, it is total bull shit."

DESERT DOG: "Call it what you want, believe what you want. Only moderators and the poster can delete or edit a post - no one else.

As to the other activity. Becka was trying to mess with you by editing your post in another thread, she didn't expect you to go ballistic. I sometimes mess around with Harry and Frances by changing their wording, in good fun. If they ever complain, I will stop. The only new moderator is Becka, who generally cleans the "for sale" boards of old stuff. So there really is no new "mod team", its the same people you got pissed off at last time when you left the forum and said you weren't coming back.

As to sexually explicit pics on the general forums, personal attacks on people, blatantly racist comments, threats, run reports or pics of runs on closed trails, and people engaging in illegal activity - those posts ARE deleted or moved to Brad's Playhouse. And yes, a great deal of this gets done regularly.

So we can not simply ban the deletion of any posts, because many posts really need to be dealt with. But I do see that a couple of your posts were modified to change foul language.

We made a poll about deleting foul language and the majority voted to keep foul language. I do get lots of complaints from people who claim that our forum has turned into a cesspool (and not just the usual few who complain about everything), so maybe its getting so bad that people are changing their minds? I don't know?

Make a motion in the "new business" portion of the forum to stop the editing of foul language on the forums. Ill vote for it.

Also, we need to make sure we stay on topic when conducting official business on this board, this is not general chit-chat. This is way off topic from GJ's motion last month on the BRC, and I should have closed the thread when this order of business was complete. So once you make a new motion or start a new thread in the general forums, these off-topic posts in this thread will be deleted or moved."
