Broke the steering column, transfer case locked in 4hi, apple cored the govener on the trans. Time for some upgrades. I'm going to rape my 69' blazer for the trans, tcase and steering column. Clark 282 2 1/2 ton trans 6.99:1 1st married to a 205.

Sounds like a nice pile of upgrades. so you'll be around 14:1 in lo4? You wouldn't happen to have an extra 205 lying around would you?

14:1x4.56 would give about 64:1, I'm going to double the 205 with a 203 eventually but this will work for now. I just used my spare 205 on a customers rig, 64' fj40 landcruiser 350/350/205 swap. Look on craigslist you should find some good deals. I Just bought a 350/350/205 set in Tehachapi for $500, this is going in a cj7, not for sale.

i was considering that same drivetrain from tehachapi. I'm just not in the mood to spend money right now though. saving. Don't know what for, but it will do some good.
