Jan Pismo roll over

Postby Mickey » February 1st, 2011, 2:59 am

A group of us from our diesel club went down to Pismo for the day on sunday. :wings: My buddy try to climb this small dune in 2wd, but it was short and steep and he realized he couldn't make it  , so he tried to turn around on it (dumb mistake!.!.! :banghead: ). However when he turned to the driver side and it started to slide, instinict kicked in and he hit the break. It stopped and proceded to roll over unitl it came to a rest on the passenger side :suprise: . Fortunately no one was hurt :wings: . My niece was riding passenger, so she got to experience her first roll over. :drinks:

Needless to say, my buddy got ---> :owned: lol

Lessons learned:

1) Always back straight down a dune, never pull a u-turn.
2) If you want to side-hill a dune like Henry, make sure you know what you are doing. Otherwise, don't immitate.
3) The sheet metal on those trucks looks to be just as thin as the stuff on my JK.
4) Don't you wish you had a winch on your truck sometimes?
5) Flying the fag of Mehico in central cal, come on now bubba, somethin was bound to happen :lol3:

Did that floor jack work in the sand?
