For those that are Facebook challenged...
Let me preface this buy saying everyone is ok. We had a really bad Roll today on Lockwood. Joe Stocker lost his breaks and took a nasty spill, got thrown out of his jeep, and jack Branch held on for the ride... rolling about ten times down a steep hill. Point mugu club helped out greatly taking Joe and Jack out of the trail, and the rest of us recovered his Totaled jeep.
Joe had a surgery on his hand today and will need another tomorrow. He also has some broken ribs. Jack got beat up but is ok.

No seatbelts?

I'm glad that Joe and Jack will wheel another day. We seem to be having a lot of rollovers and the trails these days.

Not to sound too morbid or disrespectful Jeremy, but do you have any pics of the wrecked jeep? Any details about after-market roll cage or just the stock one? Where seatbelts used or did they fail? Just trying to accumulate some real-world data and what safety equipment works in worse-case scenarios like this. I thought I remembered Joe having a white CJ with a home-made cage.

Once again, best wishes to Joe and Jack.

The roll cage held up well, all things considered. It was tweaked a bit, but completely intact. it was a home built cage on his jeep. I am not sure about seatbelts, I can only speculate. I will try to post pics on our TB website in a day or two.
