Mechanic in Tehachapi?

So, i have a loud knock in my engine or transmission.
I've troubleshot some things but the results were inconclusive. the knock sounds more metallic by the bell housing in the transmission, I took off the valve cover and didn't find any rocker arms rocking.

are there any honest shops in Tehachapi that can help me troubleshoot this issue?
