Spent some time on Cad and designing some more attractive schrader guards. I wish I had a good buddy with a CNC machine. These would be out of aluminum:

Shit, I hope somebody makes it, so I dont have to cary the development cost burden. I bet to have a CNC make this from scratch, I'd be looking at $1,000 for a pair. I may be way off because I've never had something fancy like this made from scratch. Any ideas on one-off CNC costs?

I should probably send that to ORI...seems they'd be the most likely candidate to actually make it.

OR better yet, incorprate some freaking schrader protection into their design to begin with.

Might need to move the holes further to the outside when you do cut it. You really should patent your idea man its cool.

The cut only needs to be 1.75" wide to get past the shaft, otherwise, it would need to be cut in half. I think that a smaller cut, will allow more continuous contact area around the strut, making it somewhat stronger and more resistant to spinning if hit...right?
