So I dont have the time to finish my FJ40 project. Do any of you want to do it or know a shop that wont rape me to finish it. It can be long term, up to six months from now.
Here is the build thread
http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=58176.0
what I could think of that needs to be done
1. finish roll cage and seat mounts
2. finish front fenders
3. brake line routing
4. finish wiring, mount comp.
5. exhaust
6. mount gas tanks and lines
7. paint and line x (ill do this)

I'll first recommend a call to Richard at G&G Offroad in Bako. Second, I'll recommend a guy out here in Ventura, Brett at Off-Road Werkz. Richard does cleaner work, but Brett's holds up to my blind ass wheeling, so while it's ugly, it's plenty strong (talking welds). Richard is more expensive.... so you'll pay for that PBB approval... Brett's prices usually cannot be beat, but post pictures of his welds on PBB and you'll get an anal raping.
The distance is an issue for you and I can't speak for the guys out in Bako, but of you brought it local to me, I could get you weekly progress pics and what not.

Yeah... Richard is good! I thought you were Renato... as his username is similar to yours. I suggested the shop close to me because he's not in Bako. Richard would be MUCH more convenient for you.

Thanks again

So I'm not getting a response back from G&G. I've left a pm and an email with no response. I have some work that needs to be done on my daughters yj. Any other good shops in Bakersfield that won't rip me off?

Drive down to his shop on fruitvale and talk to Richard. His door is always open to anyone.

Try TGIF,it's my buddy Brian Friday's dad shop, it is geared towards jeeps, the entire family owns a jeep of some sort, I haven't been there yet but I wouldn't hesitate to go there either.
